What comes with a restroom trailer rental in Chattanooga?

A restroom trailer rental in Chattanooga includes 2 private stalls, each with a flush toilet and a sink, plus lights, mirrors and climate control. We deliver the trailer, level it, and pick it up after the event. Delivery is included in our core area, and 3 to 4 station models are available.

  • Flush toilets. Real toilets, not holding-tank seats.
  • Running-water sinks. Each stall has its own sink, soap and paper towels.
  • Lights and mirrors. Guests can freshen up after dark.
  • Climate control. Cool in a Chattanooga July, warm on a November night.

What utilities does a restroom trailer need?

A restroom trailer needs 3 things: a garden hose that reaches a working spigot within about 100 feet, a dedicated 110-volt, 20-amp outlet within about 100 feet, and level ground about 8.5 by 16 feet. If no outlet is free, we can quote a generator.

A dedicated outlet means nothing else heavy runs on that circuit. A DJ, a coffee urn or a string of lights on the same circuit can trip the breaker and shut off the trailer.

When is a restroom trailer the wrong choice?

A restroom trailer is the wrong choice when the site has no level spot about 8.5 by 16 feet, no truck path, or no water and power within about 100 feet. Steps at each door also make it hard for wheelchair users. In those cases, flushing or standard units work better.

  • No power or water nearby. Deluxe flushing units carry their own water and need no outlet.
  • A guest uses a wheelchair. Add a wheelchair-accessible unit next to the trailer.
  • A sloped field or soft ground after rain. Units on plywood pads handle that better than a trailer.
  • A job site. Crews do better with standard units and weekly service.
  • A backyard behind a narrow gate. The trailer cannot get there. A flushing unit can.

How does a restroom trailer compare with deluxe flushing units?

A 2-stall restroom trailer gives guests flush toilets, running-water sinks, lights and climate control, but it needs a hose, power and about 8.5 by 16 feet of level ground. Two deluxe flushing units need no hookups and fit through a 48-inch gate, but they still feel like porta potties.

Who cleans a restroom trailer during the event?

A restroom trailer arrives cleaned and stocked with toilet paper, soap and paper towels. A 1-day wedding usually needs nothing more. Events longer than 2 days can add a mid-event service, when we pump the tank, clean the stalls and restock supplies.

For a long reception, ask a friend or the venue staff to check paper and wipe the counters once or twice. It takes 5 minutes and keeps the trailer looking fresh.

Where should a restroom trailer be parked for a wedding?

A restroom trailer should sit on level, firm ground about 8.5 by 16 feet, with a truck path about 10 feet wide and 12 feet tall. Keep it within about 100 feet of a spigot and an outlet. On grass after rain, park it near a paved or gravel edge.

  • Walk the path from the road to the spot. Look for low limbs, wires and soft ground.
  • On a steep drive on Signal Mountain or Lookout Mountain, tell us the grade when you book.
  • Place the trailer close enough to the reception for guests to find it, but downwind of the food.
  • Planning the whole day? The wedding restroom rental page covers guest counts and timing.

What does a luxury restroom trailer look like inside?

A luxury restroom trailer looks more like a small bathroom than a porta potty. The 6 photos below show the 2-stall exterior, vanity sinks, a tiled stall wall, a wood-cabinet vanity, a garden setup from above and the side steps.

Restroom trailer questions

Is there a smaller or cheaper restroom trailer?

The 2-stall model is our smallest trailer, at $895 to $1,450 for a weekend in our core area. If that is more than you need, 2 deluxe flushing units run $275 to $350 each and need no hookups. See the porta potty cost guide.

Do you have restroom trailers with showers?

Shower trailers are not part of our standard lineup. Call and ask about your dates and needs, and we will tell you plainly whether we can help.

How much is a 3 or 4 station restroom trailer?

A 3 to 4 station luxury trailer runs $1,450 to $2,400 for a weekend, with delivery included in our core area. A 2-stall trailer runs $895 to $1,450. Sales tax is added. The porta potty cost guide has the details.

Can the restroom trailer run on a generator?

A generator works when no dedicated 110-volt, 20-amp outlet sits within about 100 feet. We can quote one with the trailer. You still need a garden hose to a spigot within about 100 feet.

Can a wheelchair user get into a restroom trailer?

Our trailers have steps at each door, so they are hard to use from a wheelchair. Set a wheelchair-accessible unit next to the trailer on flat ground. Public events need at least 1 accessible unit in each group of toilets.
